Juicelog Mon 080506: This afternoon I had my monthly supervision session with my line manager (she is a Social Worker by trade but is now a Service Manager). A Service Manager is about 4/5 grades below the Chief Executive Officer of a NHS Trust. During supervision I impressed my boss with my technical skills. She made me realise how unique my role was within the Service. If I were to do a job swap with her, I would be able to carry out 60% of her duties but she would only be able to do 10% of mine.
