Mum No. 2

Juicelog Wed 100506: Ema’s mum is currently over from Poland on holiday and joined us for the Beer on Broadway tonight. It was my first outing at a beer festival and I went along purely for the social aspect to catch up with one of my favourite couples (Tom & Bouncy Boy) and the poles.

The non observant amongst you lot know that beer is not something I would swallow when I’m out’n’about. Even if it’s the only drink remaining at the bar. Saw a heck of a lot of kegs tonight of stuff that would not normally be found in Threshers or in your local pub. Consumed a lovely cherry beer and a yummy bink blosem (blossom, ginger and honey). These fruit beers certainly jolted my system in a way quite similar to the way champagne does. Didn’t have the capacity to have the banana beer so purchased a bottle on the way out instead.
