Tune In, Tuned out

Juicelog Sat 060107: Sam M (one of my pseudo neighbours) was feeling bored and wanted to go out. We went down to a new local bar called Tune In on Acton High Street. Sam received a tip off from some locals that it was a gay bar and so we hopped along with some jumbled up expectations that involved the usual assortment of Kylie remixes, drag acts and tanned moustaches in gimp suits.

Walking in we realised that it wasn’t very homo, in fact it was a bar lacking an identity run by a poof who was trying to attract a variety of punters. The décor was a mish mash of funky wall paintings with a few bits of cheapo furniture. Some of our entertainment came from this stunningly cute Polish barboy showing us a few of his magic card and mind tricks. Lacking in gaybar this place definitely needs a touch more gaydar.
