Juicelog Thurs 050707: What better way to kick start Cindy’s bidet with a M&S sponge cake, Cava and a trip to Berlin. Landed at Tegel airport as planned and went along to our hotel located in Schönhauser Allee (in the Prenzlauer Berg area). Had dinner at a very sub-standard Thai restaurant a couple doors down from the hotel. Dinner was rapidly rinsed out of bodies with copious amounts of Myers Rum & Cola (at some of the funky bars in the local area).
The bars are worth a visit as the décor and atmosphere is very different to the bars in London. The ambience was more chilled with music to match.
