Juicelog Sun 290707: Ambled into the new connaught rooms in Covent Garden for some late afternoon Salvation grooves with Peter S, Tommy K, Fat Chris and Kevin. What a refreshing change it was for me to go to a new venue. The place had a bit of a upmarket 3 star wedding banquet / stately home feel to it. It was also one of the first times I’ve ever disco’d it up on carpet.
The venue took more unusual steps with enforcing a no drinks beyond the main dance floor policy to stop people from g’overdosing. Some people still managed to end up in the VIP room dancing sideways to the beat of their own rhythms.
